Manufactured from high tensile malleable cast iron with an attractive grey hammertone finish these are very useful for holding workpieces securely for smooth and even turning. Used in conjunction with a catch-plate these act as a driving device while turning material between centres. A V groove in the body helps clamping of round jobs.
